Common questions

Choosing a challenge

Which challenge should I start with?

Loch Ness, because the first 21km are free and need no card. It is the quickest way to see whether the idea suits you.

How long does a challenge take?

Entirely up to you, there is no deadline. A 70km route at 2km a day takes about five weeks; the length of Britain is a year-long project for most people.

Do I buy them one at a time?

You can. Most challenges are £19. Two a year costs about the same as annual membership, which opens all of them.
